Meet The Founder

 TheCC's founder, La'Vonne-Alexis has always been a fashion connoisseur in her own right. As a child, she loved to play dress up in her mom’s closet and has had the best fashion inspirations in both grandmothers; who housed vintage designer garb. This began La’Vonne’s fascination with all things she considered beautiful. As she grew older, her fascination turned to wanderlust of finding uniqueness in each garment.

La’Vonne moved to Miami, FL from the BEAUTIFUL sunny isles of the Bahamas to study Fashion Design & Merchandising, where she garnered a lot of experience as a stylist, buyer and closet organizer. La’Vonne has been awarded the opportunity to work alongside designers from all over the world. She has worked at Miami International Fashion Week, Miami Fashion Swim Week, Instyle Magazine, Vogue's & Bebe Summer Fashion Show, Miami Art Basel and Material World. As a stylist, she has worked with international companies and modeling agencies such as Next, Wilhelmina, Ford models, Boho Betty USA and the list goes on.

Having had prior experience in selling vintage merchandise on her very first online boutique “Era”, La’Vonne took a 3 year hiatus to launch her first handmade jewelry collection in 2010 called “Cute Confections” which has been very successful globally. La'Vonne has showcased her accessories at New York Fashion Week and you can see her work on many NYC based reality tv personalities and musicians. With the desire to return to the full fashion swing of things La’Vonne wanted to open the doors to the most coveted closet that you will ever step into. She is deeply involved with the design, buying, styling, and overall vision of TheCC brand.
